The mission of the MATRIX Veteran's Employee Resource Group is to champion our proud community of employee veterans who support and encourage each other through shared experiences, lessons learned, veteran recruitment, career development, philanthropic engagement, professional growth and retention. As an owned and operated Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), we are passionate about bringing our unique background of military service together and to harness these strengths to better serve our community, clients and our organization.
DOD SkillBridge Provider
MATRIX is proud to announce its recognition as a DOD SkillBridge Program Provider, a
significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to supporting Veterans and our mission
to provide exceptional project management services.
What is the DOD SkillBridge Program?
The DOD SkillBridge Program is a unique initiative designed to bridge the gap between
military service and civilian employment. It allows transitioning service members to gain
valuable hands-on experience with civilian employers during the final months of their military
service.
Specialized Training, Resources & Mentorship
Military professionals excel at Project Management. Military experience and project management in the civilian sector may not use identical language, but as a Veteran owned and operated business, we know first-hand that the methodologies are the same. This means that your military experience and skillset is extremely valuable to a career in project management. Many transitioning veterans find successful and fulfilling careers in the civilian sector as project managers or project schedulers. By earning your Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), you will create a solid bridge to walk across into civilian project management positions at MATRIX. Review our Military to Civilian position equivalents.
Veteran Educational Assistance Program
Many veterans have project management experience—just under a different name. At MATRIX, we invest in expanding your knowledge of project management, project controls and project scheduling. Because our military Veterans innovate and excel, we give them the opportunity to continue their education. To support our mission, MATRIX offers premiere educational assistance programs that accelerate learning for employees while removing financial barriers to participation. For military looking to transition civilian life, project management is a great career and there are a multitude of project management certifications
