MATRIX PMO was awarded a multi-year contract by Entergy Transmission to provide project controls, project scheduling, cost analysis and project estimating resources in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Under the terms of the multi-year contract, MATRIX will provide a range of project controls resources to support the Transmission Organization. Officials did not disclose the value, but say the contracts have optional extensions.
The Entergy transmission system is comprised of the transmission systems of Entergy's operating companies (EOCs): Entergy Arkansas, LLC; Entergy Louisiana, LLC; Entergy Mississippi, LLC; Entergy New Orleans, LLC; and Entergy Texas, Inc. The Entergy transmission system is comprised of approximately 16,100 circuit miles of transmission lines operated at 69 kV to 500 kV and approximately 1,300 substations. The transmission system spans portions of Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Texas, covering 114,000 square miles.
