On Saturday, April 24, Team MATRIX joined thousands of others walkers to participate in the National Parkinsons Unity Walk. We exceeded our goal of $1,500 and raised $2,240. As promised, Matthew Currid and Patti Currid will be matching our donations up to $1,500, to equal a grand total of $3,740 in fundraising. 100% of funds raised go to research and finding a cure. Thank you to everyone to walked with us and donated to our team.

Team MATRIX was representing all over the country on Saturday. Up in New Hampshire members of the Home Office and their families, gathered at Les Clark Nature Trail. For the first time in what seems like weeks, the sun shined and the temperature rose above 60, making it feel like Spring was
finally here.
Our Mississippi crew also joined in (and probably had better weather) walking with family and friends at Lake Hazle, in Hazelhurst, MS.

Kim McLemore was the star fundraiser for our team, with $940 raised in donations. Thank you Kim for your dedication.
MATRIX holds monthly wellness events based on employee-suggested topics. Be sure to follow our Facebook page to join us at our next event. Next month will be an online/virtual event featuring Officer Nathan Linstad of the Manchester, NH P.D. Linstad joined us in March to speak about situational awareness. Read about it here.

My husband was diagnosed of Parkinsons disease 2 years ago, when he was 49. He had a stooped posture, tremors, right arm does not move and also a pulsating feeling in his body. He was placed on Senemet for 8 months and then Sifrol was introduced and replaced the Senemet, during this time span he was also diagnosed with dementia. He started having hallucinations, lost touch with reality. Suspecting it was the medication I took him off the Siferol (with the doctor’s knowledge) and started him on PD-5 natural herbal formula we ordered from AKNNI HERBAL CENTRE, his symptoms totally declined over a 3 weeks use of the AKANNI HERBAL Parkinson's disease natural herbal formula. He is now almost 51…
My partner was diagnosed with Parkinson’s almost 5 years ago. His disease has progressed significantly in the past year, and he begun to have delusions. He also had side effects from carbidopa/levodopa, which we decided to stop, and our primary physician decided he should start on PD-5 formula 4 months ago. He now sleeps soundly, works out frequently, and is now very active since we started him on the PD-5 formula. It doesn’t make the Parkinson’s disease go away, but it did give him a better quality of life. We got the treatment from uinehealthcentre.com
